Thursday, for the second time in about three weeks, the Marian University Ancilla Women's Basketball team hosted the Community Christian Lions at Charger Arena. As before, the Chargers controlled the entire game, winning by an 84-29 margin. At the same time, the Lions came in short-handed with only six players in uniform, and give them a great deal of credit for playing with tremendous effort from beginning to end.

The Chargers were able to play all 12 ladies double-digit minutes in this one, so there were contributions across the board. Freshman Santana Eubanks (13 points), Sophomore Nasiya Gause (12 points), and Freshman Annika Davis (10 points) each scored in double figures. Freshman Jadyn Harris led the way with 9 rebounds, while Eubanks added 6 caroms. Defensively, Freshman Aaliyah Keil had 6 thefts, while Davis stole the ball 5 times, and Sophomore De'Mour Watson collected 4 steals of her own.

The Chargers are back in action with one more contest before the holiday break, as they host Cayuhoga Community College at the LifePlex later today (12/21/24). The game is set to tip at 1:00 p.m., so please come out and support the ladies, if you are able!!
