Elgin, Ill. - The Elgin Community College men's basketball team started its 2024-25 campaign with a 100-56 victory over Judson JV on Friday night.

Six players scored double digits including Davee Flowers (22), Xavior Gonzalez (17), Josiah Mayes (14), Tristan Walton (11), Jalan Alphonse (10) and Max Fessler (10).

Team leaders included Flowers in steals (nine) and assists (three) and Mayes in rebounds (seven) and blocks (two).

The Spartans are on the road to face College of DuPage on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
