The Kirtland Firebirds men's and women's basketball teams showcased their skills in back-to-back victories over North Central Michigan College (NCMC), with impressive individual performances and lockdown defense.
In the men's game, Wesley St. Juste led the charge with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, fueling the Firebirds to a 74-67 win. RJ Smith added 12 points, while Troy Jenkins recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, playing a crucial role in securing the victory.
On the women's side, Adrianna Gilmore nearly notched a triple-double, tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Kayla McCoy poured in 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Mariah Ellis dominated the boards with 11 points and an impressive 15 rebounds.
