
FULTON, MS – It was a special day for Itawamba Community College as the field was named after former head coach Andy Kirk. The Indians split their doubleheader with Wallace State-Hanceville.

Alyssa Clifft delivered a dominant performance, striking out 10 while allowing just one run on two hits and two walks over seven innings.
The Indians took control in the second inning, scoring all three of their runs. Tayler Graham's single to center brought in Lauren Brown and Houston Rea Grantham, followed by Ella Duhon's two-out double that scored Graham.
Graham, Brown, and Duhon each recorded one hit in the victory.
Game 2: Lions 13, Indians 2 [VIDEO]
Wallace State-Hanceville broke the game open with a six-run seventh inning, securing a 13-2 win in the nightcap.
The Indians tallied eight hits, including doubles from Ella Duhon, Lauren Brown, Kamdyn Taylor, and Taylar Shands. Maddie Porter and Zoe Goodman each contributed an RBI.
Brown was the pitcher of record for the Indians.
