Reivers Fall to North Central Missouri

Trenton, MO – The women's basketball teamed traveled to North Central Missouri College Friday November 8. Friday nights game featured a showdown of two pre-season top 20 teams #12 North Central Missouri College and #17 Iowa Western CC. NCMC jumped out to a 24-8 lead. IWCC could not overcame a cold shooting night. IWCC shot 25% on the night. Sydney Donaldson paced the Reivers with 10 points.

On Saturday afternoon, the Reivers would regain their shooting touch. The team shot a blistering 45% from the 3-pt line connecting on 14 3-pointers. John Wood CC would lead by 2 midway thru the 2nd quarter before IWCC would take control of the game and never fall behind again. Sydney Donaldson led a quartet of players in double figures with 20 points, Caela Tighe 18 points 12 rebounds, Kyra Wooden 17 points, Aniyah Howard 10 points 6 rebounds.

The Reivers improve to 3-1 on the young season. They are back in action Tuesday against Highland CC at 5:30 pm at Reiver Arena.
