HENDERSON, Ark. – The Indians fell to Henderson State University on Tuesday, 3-1, in four sets (25-16; 22-25; 20-25; 22-25).
After taking the first set, 25-16, ICC (6-7, 0-0 MACCC) couldn't build on momentum as the Reddies took the next three.
On the attack, McLaine Dorr (Gluckstadt) led the Indians with 15 kills while Lexi Pendleton (Germantown, Tenn.) added 10 and Kendall Finimore (Lewisburg), seven.
Natalie Nix (Florence, Ala.) had a team-best 19 digs as Michael Ann East (Oxford) added 17 and Madasen McCaig (Belmont), 12.
Pendleton led ICC with 27 assists, and Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) added 20 to the stat sheet.
The Indians will face Williams Baptist University at 6 p.m. for their last match of the day.
