Sharks use big 2nd half to beat Prestige Worldwide Prep
Miami Dade College dominated Prestige Worldwide Prep in a decisive 94-62 victory. The Sharks showcased their strength on both ends of the floor, pulling away in the second half with a strong 58-point performance.
Bronson Borlace led the charge for Miami Dade with a stellar 23-point and 12-rebound double-double. Efficient around the rim, he made 9 of 10 field goals and grabbed six offensive boards, creating second-chance opportunities for his team. Kenneth Brayboy also played a key role, scoring 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, and adding six rebounds.
Jamaal Morris and Faheim Saintleger Meran contributed heavily in playmaking, each dishing out six assists. Meran also scored 15 points and added two blocks, while Morris provided ten points and three steals, fueling the Sharks' defensive intensity.
On the defensive side, Miami Dade forced 17 turnovers, with their defensive pressure and rebounding dominance (40 total rebounds) stifling Prestige Worldwide Prep's offensive efforts. Colby Margenau led Prestige with 20 points, hitting 8 of 12 shots, but the team struggled from beyond the arc, shooting only 13.6% on three-pointers.
With this victory, Miami Dade continue their hot start to the year as they drop 90+ points in back to back contests to move to 2-0.
