Men's Basketball Goes 1-1 Against Jefferson and Onondaga

The Hudson Valley men's basketball team lost on Saturday 1/18 to Jefferson but ended the weekend with a win over Onondaga.

GAME ONE: HUDSON VALLEY AT JEFFERSON; 71-73

Julius Reed led the scoring for the Vikings with 18 points followed closely behind by Hobbs Herlihy with 17. Rowan Swan earned a starting spot for the Vikings and scored 13 points. Keyaton Parks had 9 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 steal. The Vikings had the game tied in the last minute of play but Jefferson scored and stole the ball back to run out the clock.

GAME TWO: HUDSON VALLEY AT ONONDAGA; 103-98

The Vikings men's basketball team defeated Onondaga 103-98. The game was close the entire 2nd half but the Vikings managed to pull away in the last few minutes stealing the ball and going down to score a layup and taking foul shots to bring the score to 103.

The Vikings play again on the road on Wednesday, January 22nd at Fulton-Montgomery at 7pm, following the women's game at 5pm.
