The Cyclones faced a big, strong Olive-Harvey College, falling 96-72 to the Panthers.
Even though they were physically smaller, the Cyclones held their own in the first quarter, trading leads with the Panthers. However, when Shakila Brownlow picked up her third foul in the second quarter, Moraine Valley lost some size and strength in the middle, allowing Olive-Harvey to take an 11-point lead at halftime. The game got away from the Cyclones after that as the Panthers wore them down on the offensive glass.
Jadea Johnson continued to lead the Cyclones with 18 points and a team high nine rebounds. Olivia Baxa and Isabel Lopez each sunk five three-pointers for 15 points. In her limited time on the court, Brownlow finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
