PIQUA, OH -- Despite a 13-point performance by Dasia Croft off the bench, the Community Christian College Women's Basketball team was defeated by Edison State, 86-42. Croft's points came on 6-of-16 shooting from the floor, and 1-of-4 from the line.
The Chargers took control of the game by leading 22-6 after one and 42-18 at half.
Edison State added to their lead in the final 20 minutes, defeating the Lady Lions in their first ever matchup.
Karisma Matthews added 11 points while Aqierra Hinton contributed 8.
Imani Smith had a game-high 9 rebounds.
Community Christian returns to action tomorrow night, on the road versus Lakeland. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
