In a thrilling matchup at CCBC Dundalk on November 2, Cape Fear Community College managed to secure an 80-74 victory over CCBC Catonsville. Cape Fear's Jefferson McLamb led the charge with an impressive 18 points and 12 rebounds, providing a crucial presence on both ends. Caleb Gilmore added 17 points with 4 rebounds, while Avion Pinner posted a balanced 9 points and 10 rebounds.

For CCBC Catonsville, Karris Scott had a standout performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing 4 rebounds, followed closely by Lance Porter with 17 points and 6 boards. Micah Morgan contributed 10 points and 5 rebounds to keep the game close.

Both teams demonstrated resilience, with Cape Fear shooting 54.3% from the field and CCBC Catonsville not far behind at 45.8%. Cape Fear's higher free-throw accuracy (63.6%) ultimately gave them the edge in a game marked by intense defense and pivotal plays.
