Dismal Shooting Dooms Dolphins in Second Day of East Georgia State Classic

IRON UNKIND! In the second and final day of the East Georgia State College Classic the Brunswick CC Dolphins Men's Basketball team fell to the South Georgia State College Hawks 87-53. Coming into the game both teams had one loss and were receiving votes in the NJCAA national rankings. However Brunswick was not able to recover from from its late night overtime loss to the host college East Georgia State that ended at 11 pm on Friday and only shot 27 percent in its 2pm game against South Georgia State. South Georgia State riding high from defeating #10 Eastern Florida State earlier on the first day of the event kept the momentum going throughout the game to pull away and determine the final score. Zion Gardner and Alius Bowser led the Dolphins in scoring with nine points each. With a record of 7-2 Brunswick CC is off until next weekend when they will host their three day nine team 14th Annual Holiday Classic with games starting on Friday at 3 pm.
