Geisler's Historic Night Gives Generals Fifth Consecutive Win

The Herkimer College women's basketball team earned a 75-58 road win over Orange County Community College. The Generals relied on a dominant second half to pull away, securing another strong performance on both ends of the floor.

Sophomore Sage Geisler (Queens, NY) led the charge for Herkimer with a stellar 37-point performance, shooting 14-of-25 from the field, including 4 three-pointers. Geisler also contributed across the board with 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals, proving to be the difference-maker in the game. Sophomore Kerisa Van Olst (Dolgeville, NY) finished with a season-best 15 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Anderson Eggleston (St. Johnsville, NY) added 9 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Freshman Sarah Davis (Norwich, NY) chipped in with seven points.

The Generals out-rebounded Orange County 45-42. Defensively, they limited Orange County to 27.5% shooting from the field and only 33.3% from beyond the arc.
