Miami Dade Sharks Dominate Time to Ball Prep with Balanced Attack
The Miami Dade Sharks delivered a commanding performance in their 97-62 victory over Time to Ball Prep From the opening whistle, the Sharks imposed their will on both ends of the court, setting the tone for a decisive win.
The first half saw Miami Dade establish an early lead, thanks to the efforts of their starting lineup and bench players. Forward Bronson Borlace was a standout, scoring 14 points on an impressive 6-of-7 shooting while also securing 9 rebounds. His dominance in the paint and ability to finish efficiently provided the Sharks with a reliable offensive foundation. Similarly, forward Kenneth Brayboy contributed another 14 points, complemented by 6 rebounds, showcasing his versatility and offensive skill set. Guard Faheim Saintleger Meran played the role of floor general to perfection, recording 9 points, 3 assists, and a game-high 8 steals. His ability to disrupt Time to Ball Prep's offensive flow proved pivotal in securing an early advantage.
In the second half, the Sharks continued their onslaught, with reserve forward Hassan Belkhaddar emerging as a key contributor. Belkhaddar led all scorers with 18 points, shooting 6-of-11 from the field, including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. His shooting touch stretched the defense, opening up opportunities for his teammates. Off the bench, Anthony Gilkes added 8 points, providing a spark that maintained Miami Dade's momentum. The Sharks' bench depth proved to be a major factor in their dominance, as 12 different players scored during the game.
Rebounding was another area where Miami Dade excelled, out-rebounding Time to Ball Prep 49-34. Borlace and Belkhaddar led the way on the boards, with 9 and 7 rebounds respectively, while the team's overall effort in securing second-chance opportunities helped extend their lead. On the defensive end, Miami Dade's intensity was unmatched. They forced 21 turnovers and recorded 17 steals, effectively neutralizing Time to Ball Prep's scoring threats. Although Time to Ball Prep's Khalil Volel and Hamish Vaudreuil scored 17 points each, their efforts were not enough to overcome the Sharks' suffocating defense and relentless pressure.
