Northeastern Softball Earns First Game Victory Over Luna Community College 5-4
Northeastern Softball earned a road victory over Luna Community College 5-4 on Wednesday. Reagan Fehringer was named the DDC Player of the Game. Fehringer started in the circle for the Plainswomen and ended up earning the win after throwing 7 innings, giving up four runs (zero earned) on 5 hits, walking three and striking out 8 batters.
Blayke Duncan collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Duncan hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the first inning, singled in the fourth and singled in the sixth inning. Isabelle Bencivenga and Kelsi Jurczewski both collected multilple hits for the Plaisnwomen.
