
MERIDIAN, MS - The Lady Indians put up a strong fight but came up just short in an overtime thriller, falling 74-66 to Meridian.
After a slow start, ICC found its rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring Meridian 23-16 to cut into the early deficit. The momentum carried into the third, with the Lady Indians posting 20 points and taking control of the game. However, Meridian responded in the fourth, forcing overtime where they pulled away with an 18-10 advantage.
Tootie Lockett led the way with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while D'Naylah Williams dominated the glass with 15 boards and added 11 points. Briyana Turner provided a boost off the bench with nine points and six rebounds.
