The Miami Dade College women's basketball team delivered an impressive 101-87 victory over Western Wyoming Community College, fueled by a balanced and efficient offensive attack. Cleaira Peterson led the way with a dominant performance, tallying 28 points and 12 rebounds on an efficient 12-of-16 shooting. Kiara Harris was equally impactful, scoring 24 points, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, while contributing four assists and two blocks. Shameir Quimby added 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, showcasing her versatility on both ends of the floor. Jazmyne Bynum chipped in 17 points, connecting on three three-pointers, and KaMariya Simmons anchored the defense with nine rebounds. The Sharks shot a blistering 56.8% from the field and out-rebounded Western Wyoming 43-30, demonstrating their dominance inside. Despite a strong effort from Western Wyoming's Sierra Eddie, who scored 23 points with six three-pointers, Miami Dade's depth and efficiency proved too much, as they cruised to a commanding win.
