The Miami Dade Sharks continued its strong start to the season with a commanding 7-1 win over St. Petersburg College on Tuesday. The Sharks used a balanced offensive attack and a stellar pitching performance from Carina Amarilla to secure the victory.

Mito continued to shine in the fourth, driving in another run with a single before scoring on Handa's RBI double to push the lead to 5-0. In the fifth, Eriksson showcased her speed with an RBI triple, bringing home Dana Piri. Rial then capped off the offensive surge with a sacrifice popout to make it 7-0.
St. Petersburg managed to break through in the sixth inning when Alyssa Filmer scored on a fielder's choice, but Amarilla shut the door the rest of the way.
Despite recording only four hits, the Sharks capitalized on their opportunities, drawing eight walks and executing key sacrifices. Mito led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Eriksson added a triple and an RBI, while Handa contributed a double and two RBIs.
