Although the lead changed hands all night, the Cyclones struggled to get their offense going, losing the matchup 61-59. Moraine Valley trailed the Owls by three at halftime and made some gains in the second half but not enough at the buzzer.

Jelani McGregor collected 12 points and three steals. Juvon Crawford finished with 11 points, and Amarion Johnson led with eight rebounds.
