The men's basketball team hosted a pair of region 3 match-ups over the weekend. On Saturday, the Raiders dominated from the tip against Cayuga. They had a balanced offensive attack to secure the 70-53 victory.
Cooper Mason led with 17 points, Milos Cirovic with 16 points, Matej Gasevic collected 15 points and Johnardo Turner had 11 points and 10 assists.
On Sunday, they were right back in action in the Raiders Den to host Finger Lakes. The Lakers jumped out to a 10-point lead at the half.
In the second half, FM was able to cut the lead to 71-73 with 41 seconds remaining. Finger Lakes was able to answer and hit clutch free throws down the stretch to hand FM an 81-74 loss.
Gasevic led with 17 points, Turner with 16 and Cirovic and Mason each had 12.
The Raiders hit the road this week when they travel to play Clinton on Tuesday and SUNY Adirondack on Thursday, February 6th.
