SHELBY, NC – The Cleveland Community College women's basketball team continues to showcase their strength with consecutive victories over Brunswick Community College and Louisburg College. The Yetis cruised past Brunswick with a commanding 92-46 win on February 14, 2025, before securing a hard-fought 71-60 triumph over Louisburg on February 17, 2025.
Game 1: Cleveland Overwhelms Brunswick in 92-46 Blowout
Cleveland CC established their dominance early against Brunswick, outscoring them 22-14 in the first quarter. The Yetis' defensive pressure intensified in the second period, holding Brunswick to just 10 points while extending their lead to 40-24 at halftime.
In the second half, Cleveland continued to control the game, scoring 20 points in the third quarter and an explosive 32 points in the fourth. Brunswick struggled offensively, managing just 14 and 8 points in the final two quarters, respectively.
