
Harrisburg, PA – The HACC Hawks men's basketball faced the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College Tuesday evening in a tough matchup.
Both teams came out firing on all cylinders, but the Hawks were able to capture the lead early in the first half. The Trailblazers would find themselves down, 51-36, at the break. The Hawks shooting efficiency (47%) and rebounding advantage helped them hold the lead the first half. The second half the Trailblazers battled back closing the gap. But the Hawks began to gain momentum and hold the lead over the trailblazers. The Hawks cruised through to the finish, ending the match with a final score of 88-68.
Aidan Littleton led the squad for the Hawks with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Amyr Fox scored 16 points and had seven rebounds. Julian Lownes rallied 14 points and Trey Slayton captured 10 points for the Hawks.
The Hawks will face Central Penn on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025 at 7 p.m. in the Evans Canter Gym.
