HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Men's Basketball Coach Josh Clark on tonight's showdown with NIACC:
"Guys played hard," Clark said. "We have been gearing up since we had a tough one at DMACC and we asked the guys to come out with some fire tonight, which they did. It was a 45-miunte game, and it came down to who had the ball at the end. I was proud of the way the guys fought. They did what we asked them to do. Played tough defense. We never quit and never backed down. At the end, it was just one of those things where who has the ball last is going to score."
Clark on battling No. 11 Ellsworth next:
"Ellsworth is a team that we match up well with," Clark said. "We didn't shoot the ball well tonight, but they don't shoot the ball well. We will play from the inside out and we will make them shoot. We will need to rebound. We will do what we do. Every single night in this conference is tough, but games like tonight help us going forward."
UP NEXT:
The Hawks take on No. 11 Ellsworth Community College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Iowa Falls, Iowa.
