COUNCIL BLUFFS - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 102-79 decision to Iowa Western Thursday night in an ICCAC contest.
Iowa Western, which led 55-25 at the half, was led by DaCarter Coleman with 27 points. Judah Vignery and Bryson Calamese both scored 19 points for the Reivers, who are 16-10 overall and 8-7 in the ICCAC.
NIACC (17-9, 8-7) was led by Adam Hackett and Randy McClendon, who both scored 15 points. Omarion Roberts was also in double figures with 12 points.
Roberts led the Trojans with seven rebounds. Hackett grabbed six rebounds and Keon Alexander, Zion Wright and Jaheim Savage all had four rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Sunday at home against Iowa Central. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 3 p.m.
