Harrisburg, PA - The men's basketball team faced a tough challenge against the Bulldogs on Tuesday night, ultimately falling 78-65 in a hard-fought game. Despite a strong start, the team struggled to maintain momentum as the Bulldogs' defense tightened and their offense started to heat up.
The first half saw some solid individual performances by Haji Bell and Aidan Littleton, but the team had difficulty finding rhythm as the game progressed. Turnovers and rebounds became a critical issue, as the Bulldogs capitalized on those mistakes, turning them into easy fast-break points. The Bulldogs' physicality and high-pressure defense were tough to overcome, especially in the second half when the team was unable to close the gap.
While there were flashes of brilliance, with standout performances from a few key players; Trey Slayton and Julian Lownes, the team couldn't put together a consistent run. The Bulldogs' depth and ability to execute in key moments ultimately led them to victory 78-65.
Julian Lownes led the squad for the Hawks with 16 points. Trey Slayton scored 14 points and Aidan Littleton rallied 13 points. Haji Bell followed with 12 points and 4 rebounds for the Hawks.
