Tallahassee State Eagles Secure Thrilling Overtime Victory Over Enterprise

Tallahassee, FL – December 16th 2024  - The Tallahassee State Eagles women's basketball team ended their four-game losing streak in spectacular fashion with a hard-fought overtime win against Enterprise. The Eagles displayed remarkable resilience and teamwork to clinch the victory, 64-56.

The Eagles' determination lead them to victory in overtime. 

Key Performances:

• Aiyana Sam led the team with 11 points, including two crucial three-pointers.
• Brianna Spruill was efficient, scoring 10 points on 5-7 shooting.
• Ashara Spruill added 5 points and pulled down 6 rebounds.
• Zhaniah Ervin was a force on the boards, securing a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Off the bench, Santianna Davy provided a spark with 9 points, while Tierra Coleman added 7 points and 8 rebounds.

The Eagles' defense was instrumental in the win, with the team collectively grabbing 50 rebounds and geting 15 steals. Their tenacity on both ends of the court was evident as they fought back from a deficit to force overtime and ultimately triumph.

The Eagles head into the Christmas break on a high, and look to build off this win as they are back in action January 3rd in a re-match against Enterprise State CC in Alabama.
