Jahawks lose close game versus Bay

The Lady Jayhawks hosted Bay College at home Saturday afternoon for the second match up in conference for the teams. 

From tipoff, the Lady Jays were applying pressure in a full court press. In the first half, the Jayhawks had a great run and solid offense managing to break the press. The team continued that same momentum into the second half but had a hard time finding a flow to deliver a solid third and fourth quarter. After the break in their offense, it was hard to get past the five point deficit. In the end, Jayhawks lost 55-63. 

Leaders of the game were Tyvi Davis (#23) with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks, and 1 assist. Anna Lundquist (#30) with 10 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block. Arrionna Williams (#20) with 9 points, 5 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. Remi Sponseller (#12) with 7 points, 5 points, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block. And Kennedy Adams (#11) with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 steals. 

The Jayhawks play at home Monday vs Montcalm Community College @5:30 in the Bartels-Rhode Gymnasium for a snow day reschedule game.
