Final
The Delta College Pioneers put up a strong fight on January 25, 2025, but ultimately fell short against Bay College in a fast-paced and high-scoring affair, 118-96, at Pioneer Gym.
Bay College's offense proved too much for the Pioneers to handle, as the Norse shot an impressive 54.5% from the field and knocked down 14-of-29 (48.3%) from beyond the arc. Bay's balanced attack featured five players scoring in double digits, led by Nic Williams, who poured in 21 points, including five three-pointers. Ryan Sweeney contributed 19 points and six rebounds, while Joe Ofori added 15 points and a game-high nine boards.
The Norse set the tone in the first half, building a 53-36 lead through efficient scoring and tough defense. Delta College responded with a valiant effort in the second half, scoring 60 points, but Bay College extended their lead with a 65-point outburst of their own.
Delta College was paced by Brendon Schlink, who tallied a team-high 21 points, hitting 4-of-8 from three-point range. Jayden Hackett contributed 20 points and eight rebounds, while Evan Booker recorded a near double-double with 19 points and 10 assists. The Pioneers shot a solid 49.3% from the field and connected on 44.4% of their three-point attempts, but turnovers (12 compared to Bay's 7) and rebounding disparity (Bay's 38 to Delta's 29) proved costly.
Bay College also capitalized on Delta's two technical fouls, which further swung momentum in the Norse's favor.
