Ocean Vikings Submerge To The Jersey Blues Women

Toms River, NJ - With a slow first quarter, outscored 21-17, the persistent Brookdale women's basketball team pulled out a big defeat over the Ocean County College Vikings, 69-53. 

Sophomore power forward, Madison Fernandez, paced the Blues with a huge double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman forward, Jocelyn Jackson, was a monster under the boards with 16 rebounds while adding a clutch 14 points. Freshman guard, Taylor Suckey, posted a prime 12 points, and sophomore guard, Ryann Bannerman, hustled to snatch nine steals in the win.

The Jersey Blues (14-7) head to Paterson, NJ to challenge the Passaic County Community College Panthers on Tuesday, February 4th, for a 5:00pm start.
