NIACC drops tourney opener to Northeast CC, 1-0
NORFOLK, Neb. – The NIACC women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to No. 11 Northeast CC on Sunday in the opening round of the NJCAA Region 11 Division II tournament.
Third-seed Northeast CC (14-4-2 overall) scored the lone goal of the match with 20 minutes left in the second half. Ezzy Castro scored for the Hawks on an assist from Lexie Lilienthal.
Sixth-seed NIACC ended its season with a record of 6-8-2
