Seahawks Soar Back to Defeat Raritan Valley

NORTH EAST - Cecil College men's basketball dropped 51 seconds half points on Sunday evening, fueling a comeback victory over the Raritan Valley Lions to close out the Cecil Mixer.

Sophomores Jaiden Guy, Darrien Berrios Rivera, and Shaun Chandler combined to score 36 points during the final 20 minutes. As a team, the Seahawks shot 51% from the floor and made four more attempts than Raritan.

Cecil moves to 6-1 after the win.

Turning Point

Out of a Raritan timeout at the 8:30 mark in the second, Cecil would connect on five straight layups while keeping the Lions off the scoreboard for four minutes. The run gave the Seahawks a lead that they kept for the duration of the contest.
