Ocelots Split Sunday DH At Mott

FLINT, MI – Schoolcraft continued MCCAA play on the road as they loaded to bus and traveled to Mott CC.

Game 1- On the way to a 10-3 victory in game 1, Schoolcraft would see the bottom half of the lineup light up the hit column. The 5-9 hitters for the Ocelots, Hailey McCleary, Melanie Buzo, Olivia Mikowski, Madison Gray, and Katelyn Rozycki, would account for 8 out of the 10 team hits. 4 out of the 10 hits would go for extra bases as Mikowski would log a double and a triple, and Scoggins and Solberg would also add doubles.

The Ocelots jumped out to an early lead, scoring 4 in the top of the 1^st thanks to errors bringing home 3 runs and a Kaitlyn Solberg double bringing home a run. Solberg would also get the win in the circle. In her 2^nd conference start, Solberg would throw all 7 innings while allowing 7 hits and 3 runs while striking out 3.  

Game 2- Schoolcraft would have their 1^st slip up in MCCAA play as Mott would have a big 5^th inning while knocking off the Ocelots 11-7.

Schoolcraft would have 2 big flies in the game as Mikowski and Syndey Scoggins would each clear the fences. Elsewhere in the lineup, Solberg  would log 2 hits, and Buzo, Mikowski and Gray would each add a knock. Lucky Whelan would walk twice at the top of the lineup as Schoolcraft would walk 5 times as a team.

Schoolcraft hits the road again on Tuesday as they travel to Warren to take on the Monarchs from Macomb Community College for a doubleheader tarting at 3:00PM.
