MBB Bounces Owens on Their Home Court

PERRYSBURG, OH -- In DC3's first battle in over two weeks, the Community Christian College Men's Basketball team emerged with a hard-fought victory on the road against Owens Community College on Monday afternoon.

The first half saw both teams exchange blows, but the Lions would establish a firm lead at half, 50-36.

Though the pacing slowed down, DC3 continued their momentum, winning by 9 points, fueled by a 29-point performance from DaiQuan Coach. He's now scored 582 points throughout his DC3 career.

Though the Express wouldn't go away easily, it was the 15-for-19 shooting from the free throw line that solidified the win for Community Christian.

Terrence Partridge and Derald Blackmon were instrumental alongside Coach, scoring 17 and 12 points, respectively.

The Lions return to action on the road at Adrian's JV team on Thursday, Jan 30. That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. tip off.
