November 2, 2024 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team lost to the Marian University-Ancilla College Chargers Saturday afternoon in the 5th annual Commodore Classic finale, 114-57.
Scoring in double figures was Miles Isabel with 17 points and Deonte Benejan with 12.
The Chargers came out fast and loose against the Commodores scoring the first 10 points of the game and cruised to a 56-23 lead at the half. Marian-Ancilla won their season opening match on Friday against Clark State College, 74-66.
