Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers couldn't keep up with Northwest Florida State and fell 6-0 on Friday at Youngsville, La.

 

Northwest Florida State opened the scoring in the second after Lillie Piersol doubled, scoring one run.

 

Northwest Florida State added one run in the third after Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers committed an error.

 

Mia Harper stepped in the circle first for Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking three. Mallory Baker began the game for Northwest Florida State. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.

 

Bell Land went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers in hits. Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers turned one double play in the game.

 

Lulu Luedtke, Piersol, Sister Arnold, Anna Grace Griggs, Karson McGowen, Baker, and Sara Watson each collected one hit for Northwest Florida State. Luedtke, Piersol, Arnold, and Baker each drove in one run for Northwest Florida State. Northwest Florida State had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Hayden Andrews and Arnold led the team with two bases on balls each. Andrews and Baker each stole multiple bases for Northwest Florida State.
