DETROIT, MI- The Ocelots resumed conference play against Henry Ford for their 2nd 9-inning game as the road team.
Things would get started quickly for Schoolcraft as Bryalon Schroder grounded out, bringing home Noah McCann who led the game off with a walk. The Hawks would quickly get that run back plus 1 to take a 2-1 lead through the 1st inning. Schoolcraft would score twice more in the top of the 2nd, thanks to a McCann triple, but once again, Henry Ford would strike back.
The Ocelots would be down 8-3 heading into the top of the 9th. Dominic Westfall's 4th hit on the game would plate 1 run and a Colin Sclater ground out would plate their 5th run immediately following Westfall's at-bat. However, a groundout would end the game as the tying run was at the plate for Schoolcraft. The Ocelots registered 8 hits, led by Westfall with 4. Others registering hits would be McCann, Owen Elsey, Schroder and Abel Gutierrez.
Schoolcraft looks for their 2nd conference win on Saturday as they're playing host to Jackson College with a start time of 2:00PM.
