No. 15 Mesa Volleyball fell to No. 10 Iowa Central, 3-1 on Thursday night ending their 2024 campaign.
The T-Birds fought hard after falling in the first set and bounced back to dominate set two and nearly take set three, but it seemed the gas tank ran empty in the fourth set as they fell 25-20 ending their season.
MCC ends their season with a 21-13 (12-7 ACCAC) record. This is the first 20+ win season for Mesa since 2017 and the first under head coach Jordan Herrington. The T-Birds took down multiple ranked teams this season en route to their first NJCAA Region I title since 2017.
