
Panthers lacrosse jumped ahead early and never trailed in a 10-4 win over Hudson Valley Community College on Wednesday. TC3 is now 3-4 overall and 3-3 in Region 3. Hudson Valley falls to 1-7 on the year.
Dillon Farrell (Endicott/Union-Endicott H.S.) started the scoring in the fifth minute of play, sparking a three-goal run by the Panthers that led to a 3-1 advantage after the first quarter. The teams traded goals in the second and third quarters, but the Panthers put it away with a 5-1 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Thomas Kirnie (Victor/Newark H.S.) led the way with four points on three goals and an assist. Farrell had two goals and an assist, Odanell Gonzalez (Queens/Jamaica H.S.) had two goals, and Mark Darling (Cortland/Cortland H.S.) had a goal and an assist. Brayden Kitterle (Syracuse/Bishop Ludden H.S.) and Qymani Viera-Powell (Endicott/Union-Endicott H.S.) each had one goal and Nate Freelove (Corning/Corning-Painted Post H.S.) picked up an assist.
Goalie Declan Vail (Cortland/Cortland H.S.) earned the win in the pipes with 10 saves.

The Panthers head south for a non-region game at Anne Arundel Community College (Md.) on Saturday.
