
NEWARK, Del. – The Anne Arundel Community College men's basketball team defeated host Delaware Tech, 84-79, Wednesday evening to snap a five game losing streak. The Riverhawks led by six at halftime and kept Delaware Tech at arm's length for the rest of the game.
Zef Fuanya shot 50% from the floor and recorded a career-high 25 points to lead the Riverhawks' offense. Ryan Stacey added 21 points after hitting 13 of 15 free throws in the game.
Devon Marshall recorded his third double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 boards. Angelo Harris finished just shy of a double-double with a team-high 12 rebounds to go with nine points.
Miles Evans was effective off the bench with nine points on 4-for-6 shooting with five assists, three rebounds, and a pair of assists.
The Riverhawks (3-9) outrebounded Delaware Tech, 38-29, while recording their best team shooting percentage of the season (45.3%).
