
Florence-Darlington Technical College softball team secured a 10-1 win over USC Salkehatchie on Thursday, completing a doubleheader sweep. Zoei Hunt led the charge with a standout performance, pitching a complete game and driving in four RBIs.
The Stingers' offense was powered by Larissa Siders, who scored three runs on three hits, and Isabel Allen, who contributed two hits and three RBIs. Hunt made an impact both at the plate and on the mound, hitting a home run and driving in four runs, while allowing just one run on two hits with three strikeouts in her complete game performance.
FDTC took an early lead in the first inning and continued to build on it with runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings. The team totaled 11 hits, including doubles by Siders, Savannah Sherman, and Hunt, and a triple by Grayce Rhyne.
