Carney Point, NJ. - Xavier Brewington scored a season and career high 20 points as Salem Community College outlasted Atlantic Cape Community College, 72-63, in GSAC action. It marks SCC's fourth consecutive win as the Mighty Oaks improve to 6-1 on the season.

Brewington had a solid all-around game with 6 rebounds and 6 assists to go along with 2 steals and 1 block.  Niame Scott and Rodney Shelton each added 12 points for the Mighty Oaks.  Scott went 4-6 from the free throw line with a team high 9 rebounds.  Shelton shot 6-8 from the field for the day.

The Mighty Oaks will be on the road for the first time this season when they will travel to Camden County College Tuesday November 26. Tip off is slated for 7:00PM on the campus of Camden County College.
