
FULTON, Miss. – The Indians saw it through until the end when they pulled out a 1-0 win over No. 5 Gulf Coast on Friday.
It was a stalemate throughout the duration of the match until Niclas Schulze (Hoersholm, Denmark) broke the scoreless tie and netted the go-ahead goal with 40:24 left.
Schulze had a pair of shots on goal in the win while Leander Breidenbruecker (Bizau, Austria) and Frank Rodriguez (Fulton) each added one.
William Blake (Fulton) recorded five games in a complete game effort to pick up the shutout.
The Indians will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 8 when they travel to Senatobia to face Northwest at 7 p.m.
