
FULTON, MS – The Indians secured three wins over Olney Central College, highlighted by a wild 17-16 extra-inning thriller in the series finale.
Game 1: Indians 12, Blue Knights 4 [VIDEO]
The Indians broke away with a three-run fourth inning and a four-run fifth to claim a 12-4 victory in the series opener.
Bryson Jackson drew a bases-loaded walk to score Jarrett Morris in the fourth. Stone Collier followed with a groundout to third, bringing in Reid Kent. Jude Treadaway then scored on a wild pitch, giving ICC a 3-1 lead.
In the fifth, Jud Files scored on another wild pitch before Treadaway cleared the bases with a three-run double to right, extending the lead to 7-1.
ICC racked up 13 hits, with Kent, Collier, and Houston Green each contributing two.
Brock Ware earned the win, throwing five scoreless, hitless innings while striking out eight and allowing no walks.
Game 2: Indians 12, Blue Knights 1 [VIDEO]
A dominant eight-run fourth inning powered the Indians to a 12-1 win in Game 2.
Jackson got things rolling with an RBI single to score Hank Stalnaker. The inning escalated when McCarthy doubled with the bases loaded. Madden Butler and McCarthy then scored after Treadaway and Kent were hit by pitches. Stalnaker added a single to drive in Nathan Ferris before Jackson capped the inning with a sacrifice fly to bring in Treadaway.
ICC totaled nine hits, with McCarthy, Stalnaker, and Jackson each collecting two.
Files secured the win with a no-hitter over five innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Game 3: Indians 17, Blue Knights 16 (10 Innings) [VIDEO]
Jude Treadaway's four-hit, four-RBI performance helped the Indians complete the sweep with a dramatic 17-16 extra-inning victory.
Trailing 7-5 in the seventh, ICC plated five runs to take a 10-7 lead. Olney Central responded with an eight-run explosion in the eighth to go up 15-10.
Treadaway sparked the comeback with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth. Collier and Butler followed with two-run homers of their own, forcing extra innings.
Kent sealed the win in the tenth, scoring on a throwing error by the Blue Knights.
The Indians amassed 18 hits, with Green, Kent, McCarthy, Ferris, and Jackson all recording multiple hits.
Brayden Billingsley earned the win, shutting down Olney Central in the final inning with two strikeouts, no hits, and no walks.
