Both teams came out firing on all cylinders at the start of the first half but the Hawks were trailing behind at the end 34-43. However, the Hawks shooting efficiency (46.5%) and rebounding advantage helped them hold the lead in the second. The second half both teams battled for the lead. But the Hawks began to gain momentum and hold the lead over the Phantoms. Key contributors for the team included standout performances from Haji Bell, Julian Lownes, and Eli Vega, who made crucial shots in the final minutes to seal the win. The team's defense stepped up when it mattered most, forcing turnovers and limiting the Phantoms' scoring opportunities down the stretch.
