Arkansas State Mid-South couldn't keep up with Missouri State-West Plains and fell 7-1 on Saturday.

Arkansas State Mid-South were the first to get on the board in the first when Matthew Dutton hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Haidan Barnard doubled, which helped Missouri State-West Plains tie the game at one in the top of the third.

Missouri State-West Plains took the lead in the top of the fourth. Charlie Croes hit a solo home run to center field, to give Missouri State-West Plains the upper hand, 2-1.

Brayden Hindes earned the win for Missouri State-West Plains. The starter surrendered five hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking three. Tripp Johns drew a walk, scoring one run, Garrett Hartman was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Gabe Borges grounded out, scoring one run, Charlie Croes singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, an error scored one run, Barnard singled, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Andrew Elkins earned the win for Missouri State-West Plains. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Layne Rivers took the loss for Arkansas State Mid-South. The lefty went three innings, surrendering four runs on five hits, striking out six and walking none.

Kaleb Tejada went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
