Wolverines Win Three Straight

Newark, NJ - On Saturday Jan. 25th, the Wolverines won their third straight game vs Sullivan County Community College 110-76. The Wolverines were led by Jonathan Quiles II with 20 points and Shane Cedres with 16 points. Essex came out flying offensively to start the game, outscoring their opponents 50-34 and shooting lights out from the field. The home team played some superb defense forcing their opponents to commit 22 turnovers, leading to countless fast break points. Freshmen Jean Behary would go on to post a double/double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, as Coach Kemp was able to get quality minutes from the entire roster which saw quality minutes.

Sophomore Faheem Williams posted 10 points and 5 assists and was a focal point in getting the offense set and getting quality possessions.

The Wolverines (6-14) are now off and resume play on Tues. Jan 28th at Middlesex for a 7pm tipoff in a crucial Region 19 matchup.
