Back to .500

After falling behind to Kishwaukee College, the Cyclones went on a second-half run to reach .500 with a 93-71 victory on the road.

Moraine Valley raced to an early 8-2 lead, but the Kougars battled back to keep the score close. A rough second quarter, where the Cyclones scored 16 points to the Kougars' 25, saw them at a halftime deficit. However, it was the 57-point second half with full-court pressure that helped the Cyclones regain the lead and pull away, leading by as much as 30 points in the fourth quarter.

It wasn't the Cyclones' best offensive game this season, as they shot 30% overall and caused 36 turnovers. However, their perseverance paid off. Robin Stevenson led with 23 points, 11 rebounds and two steals. Jadea Johnson collected 19 points while Lily Hernandez scored a season-high 14 points. Isabel Lopez was 4-for-11 from the three-point line. Shakila Brownlow tied with Stevenson for a team-high 11 rebounds. Deniza Fuentes led with six assists and added four steals.
