Adirondack Bounces Back to Take Game Two Over Genesee CC, 8-5
BATAVIA, N.Y. –
After dropping the opener, SUNY Adirondack responded in a big way in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader, defeating Genesee Community College 8-5 in seven innings.
The Timberwolves' offense came alive behind a stellar performance from Madison Pincheon, who went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs. Emma Martens continued her hot day as well, notching three more hits and adding two RBIs to help pace Adirondack's attack.
On the mound, Maddy Wasserman earned the win, going the distance and striking out three Cougar batters while keeping Genesee off balance throughout the game.
SUNY Adirondack built an early lead and held strong, showing resilience and energy to close out the day on a high note after the Game 1 setback.
The Timberwolves return to action this weekend as they continue their season with more conference play.
