The Cyclones had their work cut out for them when they faced Parkland College, ultimately losing the matchup 99-68.

Although the Cyclones continued to improve throughout their opening weekend, the Cobras were a tough, physical team they weren't used to. Deven Jiles led with 13 points while Amarion Johnson collected 12.
