The Anoka-Ramsey Men's Basketball team broke a five-game skid by beating two MCAC Northern Division opponents last weekend.

On Friday night, the Golden Rams beat MN North Hibbing 84-78 by making 48.5 percent of their field goals and forcing 24 Cardinal turnovers.

Jamal Woods tallied 27 points on 10 of 17 from the field and 2 of 3 from three.

Albert Tinnel IV scored 20 points off the bench while adding 11 rebounds.

J'son Saeed'El scored ten points.

On Saturday, Anoka-Ramsey beat MN North Rainy River 86-74 behind 30 points from Woods on 11 of 17 shooting, and 4 of 7 from three.

Saeed'El scored 15 points making 7 of 8 free throws as the Golden Rams made 14 of 17 from the charity stripe.

Tinnel IV added 13 points, with Jacob Von Ende knocking down four threes in the first half to finish with 12 points.

The Golden Rams forced 21 Rainy River turnovers.

Anoka-Ramsey improves to 6-5 overall and will host Bismarck State and Joliet this weekend.
